Before moving to Naples in 1990, Nancy was a reporter and editor at the Financial Times of London, and was a manager, editor and reporter at The New York Times. In-depth research skills, rigorous attention to details and advanced communication capabilities have carried over from her career as a business journalist to her real estate business.
For buyers, Nancy provides comprehensive information about communities; detailed facts on specific properties; skilled negotiation of price and terms, and precise attention to all the steps between the opening bid and moving day. Nancy has had a Florida real estate license since 1992 and has been a sales associate at Downing-Frye Realty since 1993. She received Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Columbia University in New York and real estate training from New York University. She is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Florida Association of Realtors and the Naples Area Board of Realtors.

Downing-Frye was founded in 1962 by Earl Frye and the late Wesley G. Downing. While runnning the brokerage, Earl also developed a number of projects including the Royal Poinciana Golf Club, Meridian, Pebble Shores, Wilderness Country Club, Bonita Beach Club, Commodore Club, Highlands Falls Country Club and River Oaks. As he continued as a developer, one of his sons, David, took over the brokerage.
